The doorbell rang the other day and someone was doing door-to-door sales of vacuums (yes, they still do that!) The sales pitch repeated with monotony when I cracked the door open. But what struck me was the lack of identification of the company he was representing. With a rash or recent break-ins, I was weary of even opening the door. It got me thinking about the safety aspect of the company shirts we print. Screen printed or embroidered polo’s identify who you are representing, remind me as I stand there glazed over from your memorized sales pitch, what brand vacuum you were peddling. And naturally pulling together your sales team, they will take pride in who they are representing, making them conscience that I know their name and company info. Not to mention, making it safer for me to open my door in the middle of the day.
