Marketing Lessons From A Local Business

As a small business owner I’ve become hyper-aware of how businesses handle themselves. Are they friendly? Easy to work with? A snap to find? And of course, I pay attention to their signage. I was glad to find out, I’m not the only one who thinks this way. While reading through my Flipboard magazines an article on Small Biz Trends caught my attention, it’s called,  7 Marketing Lessons From My Local Barber Shop. Shashi lists a few lessons businesses should keep in mind, such as having readable, visible signs, clearly stated hours, friendly greeting when you walk in the door, doing a little bit extra for your customers. Here is the article so you can glean what other marketing ideas he picked up on.
